About the event

Welcome 2024 with clear intentions via the Hearts Alive "Fresh Start" workshop. Join together in loving community for this half-day journey where you will make space, breathe deep,  stretch, speak your truth, and set intentions so 2024 becomes your best year yet. From a state of deep relaxation and presence, we will reflect upon 2023 (what we loved, what surprised us and what we wish to let go of) and get clear on our intentions for the new year. Insights will be gained via group discussions (listening and speaking), journaling and more! Leave relaxed with a sense of connection, support, enthusiasm and clear direction. Lunch, snacks and tea will be provided. Space is limited. Early registration is recommended.

About Harmony Ridge Lodge

Harmony Ridge Lodge, nestled in the woods of the Tahoe National Forest 5 miles from Nevada City, is one of Nevada County’s true gems. Consisting of the main lodge, small and large gathering spaces, 9 spacious suites and beautifully kept grounds, gardens and orchard. The property truly is a haven away from home.

Springtime in Nevada City

Springtime in Nevada City is like stepping into a storybook. Nestled in the pine-covered foothills of the Sierra Nevada and bursting with fresh blooms, this historic Gold Rush town invites visitors to wander its narrow streets, explore its lovingly preserved 19th-century buildings, and enjoy its vibrant downtown. The entire district is a national historic landmark filled with cozy cafés, one-of-a-kind boutiques, galleries, and local museums—all infused with a welcoming, small-town charm.

Just minutes from sparkling rivers and lakes, Nevada City offers a perfect spring getaway that blends natural beauty with rich California history. With its roots tracing back to 1849, Nevada City is a living museum where the past and present dance in harmony. Springtime brings renewed life to the town’s cultural scene—from lively outdoor dining and year-round theatre to music festivals and artisan fairs.

Once home to gold miners, the town is now a haven for artists, writers, and innovators drawn to its peaceful pace and creative energy. Whether you're drawn by the history, the scenery, or the community spirit, Nevada City offers a timeless retreat where California’s golden legacy continues to bloom.
