ABOUT THE CLASS: Find inner stillness through gentle movement in this 75-minute Hatha yoga class. The asana sequence guides you to listen deeply to your body's wisdom, meeting yourself where you are each day. Enjoy benefits like improved circulation, flexibility, reduced tension, vibrant energy, grounding and connection. The class features pranayama (breath exercises), energizing yet calming poses to strengthen and gently open the body, and a long, restorative savasana. Slow down from the rush of daily life, chill out, and give your sympathetic nervous system a break. People of all levels are welcome to join this non-judgmental exploration of yoga postures and conscious relaxation for body, breath and mind. Here, we move thoughtfully, seeking wisdom within and space for our true selves to unfurl. This class is intended for adults. Students under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult and able to follow along a 75 minute class. ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Learn more about Suzanna on the instructor bios page: ITEMS TO BRING: Please bring a yoga mat, a pair of yoga blocks and a strap (or necktie/scarf). You are also invited to bring a blanket to support your body in some poses and an eye pillow for savasana (the final resting pose). A limited number of extras (of the items listed above) are available to newcomers.
