Activities will kick-off Friday late afternoon/early evening and we'll wrap up by midday Sunday. A rough agenda will be posted closer to the retreat date.
Who this event is for:
Women who work hard and give endlessly to others. Women who have forgotten what brings them joy but know their "happy" lurks just beneath the surface and can be reclaimed if given the opportunity to recenter their focus onto themselves. And, women who simply think this retreat looks rad and want to be a part of it! :)
Women: includes trans women and those who are nonbinary, gender non-conforming, and anyone who identifies as a woman in a way that is significant to them is welcome.
Location:
Black Mountain Retreat Center (BMRC) is a rustic, clean and comfortable venue situated on 485 acres in West Sonoma County six miles outside the rural town of Cazadero.
Retreat Cost:
$650 for dorm-style accommodations with twin beds (no bunk beds)
$795 for a private room (double occupancy)
$995 for a private room (single occupancy)
A limited number of scholarship spots are available if the retreat cost is out of reach and you're interested in attending. Please email me.

All the bedrooms in the Tara House are under the same roof. There are two shared bathrooms (with two toilets, showers and sinks in each of them), extensive closet space and full bedding / towels are included. Manzanita Dorm Rooms
This dorm building features semi-private and dorm-style rooms with individual twin beds with dividers (e.g., partition walls) to offer a level of privacy and forest or garden views. All rooms are spacious, clean, carpeted and fully-heated for the cooler months. Shared restrooms are just steps away. This type of reservation includes full bedding and towels.

DRUMMM’s founder and chief rhythm activator, Jeni Swerdlow, MA-ATR is a dynamic and engaging facilitator, presenter and trainer with a passion for drumming and a mission to build connections through rhythm. Founded in 2000, DRUMMM’s popular facilitated drum circles and interactive rhythm events engage 10,000 participants a year at a variety of settings in the U.S. and abroad. Jeni is a Certified Village Music Circles Global Trainer, Registered Art Therapist (ATR), REMO-Endorsed Drum Circle Facilitator, and trained HealthRHYTHMS and Rhythm2Recovery Facilitator.
