ABOUT SUZANNA
Suzanna has practiced yoga asana on and off since a teenager, however, she really leaned into it during the pandemic when she discovered a more regular practice equated to greater peace of mind and a sense of resilience to life's up and downs.
She enrolled in a 200-hour Hatha yoga teacher training to hold herself accountable to deepening her practice, satiate a growing hunger for more yogic knowledge and to learn how to safely share this deeply supportive practice with others. Her first-level training was transformative to say the least and ignited a deeper and more fulfilling connection to Self that keeps unfolding. Upon graduation, she immediately enrolled in the advanced level teacher training with Cloud 9 Yoga to obtain ongoing support as a newer teacher and further her knowledge.
Suzanna believes a regular yoga practice supports physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing and helps us "show up" better for ourselves and others. Her classes reflect her personality and yoga journey, incorporating traditional Hatha and breathing techniques as well as guided meditation. Whether you're a beginner or experienced yogi, her classes are designed to meet you where you are.
When students attend her class, they can expect a welcoming, nonjudgmental and inclusive environment where they are invited to connect with themselves.
Outside of yoga, Suzanna is a proud mother, married to her best friend, a communications professional at a sustainability-focused nonprofit and NLP Somatic Coach® that specializes in supporting heart-centered entrepreneurs (e.g., massage or psychotherapist, counselor, coach, designers/artists, mindfulness/yoga instructors, alternative medicine provider, retreat leader, music/voice teacher, etc.) with business development, marketing and communications.
