About

As a young child, Terri Lynn was introduced to downhill skiing by the age of 3. Her love of skiing cultivated her passion for adventure combined with the peace and tranquility of the outdoors. After many years of enjoying her favorite sport including racing, ski instructing, and ripping through the trails of Palisades Tahoe, she realized her passion and the importance of health and fitness. For her, skiing is life. After a ski injury in 2021 left her physically, mentally, and emotionally vulnerable, Terri Lynn plunged into intense self-care. She used yoga as rehabilitation. Her practice started daily at home, where she discovered the many healing benefits of yoga. At that instant, she knew she wanted to help others bring to light the transformative powers of yoga. She earned her 250-hour YTT certificate from Aura Wellness Center, graduating with high honors, and is impassioned to assist students to achieve the core strength, flexibility, and balance needed to prevent injuries. Terri Lynn’s approach to yoga remains focused on a blend between gentle Hatha and restorative asanas using mindful practices. Terri Lynn teaches a Thursday evening (6-7 pm) Gentle Hatha and Restorative class.

Springtime in Nevada City

Springtime in Nevada City is like stepping into a storybook. Nestled in the pine-covered foothills of the Sierra Nevada and bursting with fresh blooms, this historic Gold Rush town invites visitors to wander its narrow streets, explore its lovingly preserved 19th-century buildings, and enjoy its vibrant downtown. The entire district is a national historic landmark filled with cozy cafés, one-of-a-kind boutiques, galleries, and local museums—all infused with a welcoming, small-town charm.

Just minutes from sparkling rivers and lakes, Nevada City offers a perfect spring getaway that blends natural beauty with rich California history. With its roots tracing back to 1849, Nevada City is a living museum where the past and present dance in harmony. Springtime brings renewed life to the town’s cultural scene—from lively outdoor dining and year-round theatre to music festivals and artisan fairs.

Once home to gold miners, the town is now a haven for artists, writers, and innovators drawn to its peaceful pace and creative energy. Whether you're drawn by the history, the scenery, or the community spirit, Nevada City offers a timeless retreat where California’s golden legacy continues to bloom.
